Problems

Each year a set of problems is carefully selected by the IOC for the participants to solve.

The problems touch on various areas in physics and often do not have a known solution. It is participant’s job to tackle them and come up with their proposal.

If you think you found an interesting problem for future tournament, please do not hesitate and share it with us using following google form.

A committee founded to work on submitted proposals then votes and prepares a set of best problems. Moreover, they will improve the wording as they see fit and strive to represent all areas of physics. In case of need the committee may contact experts and the authors of the problem to ask for further information.

The final decision about the set of problems is made during an IOC meeting.
